Sportswear Personality
Contestants will get the opportunity to show their style and personality by introducing themselves on the microphone during this phase of competition. Emcee will announce their number, contestant will introduce themselves using 25 words or less. Then the emcee will read 2 fun facts from their emcee card before they exit down the center of the runway. No turns or modeling. Following the introductions contestants will be brought back on stage to do a parade of contestants before proceeding to the next age division.
Contestants will then go back to the holding room and the judges panel will come backstage for another up close look.
Evening Gown/Formal Wear
This is an onstage modeling event. Once each contestant has modeled individually, we will do a parade of contestants before proceeding to the next age division. Contestants will then go back to the holding room and the judges panel will come backstage for another up close look.
What do I wear?
Girls: This outfit is an evening. Rhinestones and other sparkle are fine. It can be any color dress. Keep jewelry to the bare minimum
(earrings if their ears are pierced). Choose a color/style that flatters the contestant. Boys: This outfit is more dressy. Attire can be a suit
or tuxedo. Shoes need to be dressy as well. Choose a color/style that flatters the contestant.
